With over 15,000 kilometres of coastline there is a breath-taking range of locations to experience the rich scenic diversity found on a journey around the coast. Few New Zealanders live far from the coast, and many cherish the special nature of seaside communities, and their place in our early history as a source of food, and valuable minerals, and a busy coastal shipping industry.
