John Daniell’s first book Confessions of a Rugby Mercenary won the British Sports Book Prize and was translated into French and Japanese. John is a New Zealander, played age-grade rugby for New Zealand, played for Wellington and Oxford University, then made a career playing professional rugby in France. He is now a writer and lives in France.
